Vera Comunale

Vera Comunale is Brazilian, an entrepreneur, investor, author and beekeeper for more than two decades. Living in the United States for over 25 years, she has built her journey with determination, hard work and a deep connection with nature.

The inspiration for writing Secrets of the Beehive was born during one of the most challenging periods of her life. While facing the end of a marriage of almost 30 years and going through a phase of profound personal and emotional change, Vera found in her bees a place of peace, strength and renewal.

In moments of uncertainty and anguish, being close to the hives brought her calm. By observing the organization, perseverance and ability of bees to work together to rebuild and protect their hive, Vera began to see lessons she could also apply to her own life.

From this experience came Segredos da Colmeia / Secrets of the Beehive: a reflection on resilience, purpose, unity and the ability to start again after adversity.

For Vera, bees do not only produce honey. They remind us that, even after the hardest moments, it is possible to rebuild life and make it sweet again.
