Lu Pimentel

Lu Pimentel is a psychologist, specialist in Transcultural Psychology, digital product mentor and writer. Brazilian, born in Rio Grande do Sul, and an immigrant, she lives in the United States after having lived in Europe. Her journey includes three years living on wheels in an RV, traveling through 25 American states, an experience that deepened her understanding of what happens emotionally when someone leaves a land but carries with them everything they lived there.

Professionally, for more than ten years she has supported Brazilian immigrants and expatriates in their new beginnings across four continents. During that time, she realized something that would also change the course of her own career: immigrating does not force a person to start from zero. It forces them to discover a new way of using everything they already know.

Lu saw psychologists, therapists, educators and other professionals arrive in new countries believing they had left behind the profession and the recognition they had built in Brazil. She walked alongside these people as they rebuilt their identity, adapted to new professions and returned to using their knowledge, turning experience into new forms of work, income and purpose.

It was by observing these processes, and living her own reinvention as an immigrant, that she developed a methodology to turn knowledge into original digital products. In four sessions, Lu and artificial intelligence build, together with the professional, the method, the positioning, the offer and the product, without requiring them to spend months watching classes, record an entire course or try to put everything together alone.

Today, she guides especially psychologists and knowledge professionals who want to break the limits of their schedule, organize what they know and create products capable of taking their experience beyond individual sessions.

She is a co-author of O Código América and was selected to join Mentes Imigrantes, Volume II. Her work is born from a conviction: you do not need to abandon the story you built to start again. You need to learn how to transform it into something that can cross borders.
