Andréa Fiório

Italian-Brazilian, immigrant, theology student, chaplain, volunteer and author, Andréa Fiório builds her work from lived faith, service, vulnerability and care.

Andréa grew up in a family where serving others was part of everyday life. Her parents taught their children by example that having little did not prevent them from sharing and that another person's needs should not be ignored simply because there were needs at home too. This quiet lesson shaped her understanding of service and later found expression in her Christian journey, volunteering, chaplaincy and, ultimately, the pages of a book.

Throughout her Christian journey, she served in several areas, including women's ministry, discipleship, counseling, welcome, evangelism and assistance projects. She also volunteered in disaster settings, staying close to people facing loss, fear, vulnerability and the difficult task of starting again. Today, her volunteer work also includes guiding and supporting volunteers and students involved in in-person activities at the college where she studies.

Her first book, A Mim o Fizeste: A glória de Deus através da ação humana, begins with Matthew 25 and follows a question that sustains the entire work: what has what we believe produced in the lives of the people God placed near us? More than discussing good deeds, the book invites readers to turn faith into a call to action.
